戦闘機パイロットであるプレイヤーは、救難ボートで海を漂っているところを旧式空母「エンデュランス」に拾われる。
母国の海軍がほぼ壊滅し、この老朽艦は避難民を抱えたまま、戦線を離脱していた。
2029年7月。
中央ユージア連合（Federation of Central Usea 以下FCU）は、ソトア共和国の電撃侵攻を受け、
主要戦力を喪失する。敗走は止まらず、国土の大半が占領される中、残存戦力も散り散りに。
エンデュランスもそうした存在にすぎない。
その艦内で、プレイヤーはひとつの名を託される。
「シーヴの翼」──FCU首都シーヴの名を冠した、希望の象徴として語られる伝説のエース。
しかしその名声は真実ではなかった。
プレイヤーは「シーヴの翼」の名を背負い、新しい３人の仲間とともに、奪われた土地を取り戻すため再び空へと向かう。
