Steam is FORCING Devs to Optimize their Games

Valve is such an anomaly in the space. While they are still a business, they don't seem to chase short-term profits at the expense of trust. They instead try to build up Steam into something that we actually want to use. NOW, they are seriously addressing the biggest problem plaguing modern gaming.... optimization. Valve is allowing you to submit performance data and based on the specs of your personal PC, it'll be able to give an estimate on performance for other people interested in buying the game.
