Harry Potter TV series first trailer drops — and the release date is sooner than you think
After months of speculation and a closely guarded casting process, a new generation of Harry, Ron and Hermione is preparing to return to Hogwarts.
HBO has released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming Harry Potter television series, confirming a premiere date of Christmas 2026.
The two-minute preview offers a first look at Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, alongside Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley.
The trio, cast following an extensive open search for British actors aged nine to 11, will lead the series across multiple seasons in near real time.
