まずは木材の下に引いたラインまで、同じ条件でカットしました。安いノコギリは数回引く中で引っかかりがあり、切断面には繊維のささくれが見られました。一方、高いノコギリは少ない回数でスムーズに切れ、仕上がりも比較的きれいな印象でした。特に切断面の整い方には目に見える違いがありました。
ただし、単純に「高いから良い」という結論でいいのでしょうか。それともノコギリの設計や用途の違いによる結果なのでしょうか。工具選びは価格よりも、使用目的に合っているかどうかが重要だという意見もあります。
