🌊🚆 Das bisschen Wasser macht auf dieser Zugstrecke in Nidderau-Eichen (Main-Kinzig-Kreis) keine Probleme. Die Einheimischen nennen das wiederkehrende Hochwasser liebevoll „Nidderauer Seenplatte“, sagt Bürgermeister Andreas Bär (SPD).

Durch die "Seenplatte" führt eine Bahnstrecke. Ein Damm, der bereits 1880 geplant wurde, sorgt nach Angaben der Stadt dafür, dass die Züge noch nie wegen des Hochwassers ausgefallen sind.
